Future Energy Global among first pioneers to join IATA’s SAF Registry

Dublin, 15 April 2025 – Future Energy Global (FEG), a pioneering force in sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) solutions, has joined CADO’s SAF Registry as one of the first “early onboarding” cohort of key stakeholders.

IATA, the International Air Transport Association, has established the Civil Aviation Decarbonisation Organisation (CADO) to manage the SAF Registry with an open and global approach that supports the scrutiny needed to build trust among all stakeholders. IATA is the trade association for the world’s airlines, representing some 340 airlines and over 80% of global air traffic. It developed the SAF Registry in consultation with airlines, government authorities, aircraft manufacturers, fuel producers, and other stakeholders, including Future Energy Global.

Future Energy Global specialises in accelerating the SAF market through an innovative financial ecosystem that facilitates collaboration between all participants in the value chain. FEG enters into long-term offtake agreements with SAF producers, provides cost-effective SAF solutions for airlines, and enables investors and corporate stakeholders to participate in the scale-up of SAF production. This “Book and Claim” approach relies on robust tracking of SAF’s environmental attributes, enabled by registers such as this new SAF Registry, which provides a consistent approach to accounting for the environmental benefits of SAF purchases, regardless of location.

“Future Energy Global is proud to be one of the first cohort of members of the SAF Registry,” said Natasha Mann, CEO and Co-Founder of FEG. “We’re already seeing strong interest in our Book and Claim solutions from airlines, fuel suppliers, and corporates, and we look forward to leveraging the strengths of the SAF Registry to help grow the global SAF market and reduce aviation emissions.”

“The SAF Registry is a key component of the industry’s commitment to help scale SAF production, increase its usage, and reduce global emissions,” said Michael Schneider, IATA’s Assistant Director of Sustainability Programs. “We recognise the need for innovative business models to drive SAF market expansion and we are very happy to welcome Future Energy Global as one of the Early Onboarding members of the Registry.”
