Future Energy Global builds its reputation for integrity with ISCC certification as a CORSIA and EU RED Sustainable Aviation Fuel trader

(DUBLIN, 24 September 2024) Future Energy Global (FEG), the innovative Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) ecosystem builder and production accelerator, has further enhanced its quality credentials by successfully obtaining ISCC certification as an accredited SAF trader.

Founded in 2010, the ISCC (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification) is a leading global certification system designed to enhance traceable, sustainable, deforestation-free, and climate-friendly supply chains in order to mitigate climate change. Future Energy Global’s ISCC certification covers both CORSIA, the global scheme for international aviation emissions reduction, and EU RED, the European Union framework for renewable energy development.

The aviation industry has committed to reaching net-zero CO2 emissions by 2050, and SAF is expected to be the biggest single contributor to this goal. Made from crops, wastes, or renewable electricity, SAF replaces conventional aviation fuel and greatly reduces the lifecycle CO2 emissions compared with fossil fuel.
